Caritas College of Nursing (CCN) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

B.Sc. Nursing (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidates must be Citizensof India / children or dependents of NonResident Indians.

Candidate should pass 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.

Candidate shall be medically fit.

Candidate  should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December. No Relaxation of age will be allowed.

Medium of instruction and examination shall be in English.

Selection Process: Admission is on the basis of merit only.

Fees: Rs. 63,500/- Per Year


 

M.Sc. Nursing (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidates must be Citizensof India / children or dependents of NonResident Indians.

Candidate should hold a B.Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Degree with minimum  55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC)

One year experience in any recognized hospital or in recognized school of nursing or in a public health agency after registration as Nurse / Midwife.

Candidate shall be medically fit.

Medium of instruction and examination shall be in English.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala.

Fees: Rs. 1,00,000/- Per Year


 

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidates must be Citizensof India / children or dependents of NonResident Indians.

Candidate should have passed 3 or 3½years General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course with 50% marks in aggregate from aninstitution recognized by the Indian NursingCouncil (INC).

Candidates should have passed 10+2 exam.

Or

 An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognised board or university, with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

 Relaxation in marks: The candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (as per G.O. (P) No.208/66/Edn dated 2.5.1966, G.O. (MS) No. 95/08/SCSTDD dated 06.10.2008 and amendments thereof), will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. They need only 45% marks in the case of Biology and 45% marks in the case of optional subjects put together. The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates need only a pass in the qualifying Examination.

Online

Go to the university official website.

Click on “Online Admissions” link on the top of the home page.

Or

Click here to Apply Online

Register yourself and enter your Name, mobile no., email id, father’s name, and select domicile Click on “Submit”.

On completing the form an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile no.

Click on “Verify OTP” link.

Now fill your personal details in the registration form and submit it.

Log in to your account and click on “Online Admissions” link.

Fill in the application form.

Upload all the documents in .jpg format.

Submit the application form.

Pay fee online.

Filled registration form should be reached to the university admission office before due date.

Mode of Payment: The application fee can be paid either by online payment gateway Or South Indian Bank Challan.

The South Indian Bank Challan can be generated after login and entering the details of the candidate. You may use the print-out of

the SIB challan generated to deposit the application fee in any of the South Indian Bank Branch Counters. Then the next step in the online application form will prompt you to fill in (1) Transaction Date and (2) Branch where application fee is deposited in the appropriate column and upload the scanned copy (JPEG / PDF file).  

M.Sc Nursing- Rs. 1,000/- (One Thousand Only)

PB B.Sc Nursing- Rs. 600/- (Six Hundred Only)

B.Sc Nursing- Rs. 600/- (Six Hundred Only)

Self-attested copies of certificates/documents to be submitted along with the application include:
The relevant page of SSLC book/equivalent board certificate as proof of age and date of birth.

  1. Certificate and Mark list of Plus Two/12th Std.
  2. Certificate and Mark list of Qualifying Examination– (All semesters/Years of GNM)
  3. Certificate of registration from the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council.
  4. In cases where the candidates claim any sort of reservation/ preference provided for each College, documents to prove such claims as described in Annexure B by each College.
  5. Certificate in proof of SEBC/OBC/SC/ST status obtained from the Tahsildar concerned.

While reporting for admission, all the relevant certificates/ documents in original as listed below should be submitted to the institution:

  1. Proof of age and date of birth, if applicable.
  2. Certificate and Mark list of SSLC/10th Std.
  3. Certificate and Mark list of Plus Two/12th std.
  4. Certificate and Mark list of Qualifying Examination – (All semesters / Years of GNM).
  5. Certificate of registration from the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council.
  6. Certificate of good conduct from the institution last attended (preferably issued within six months).
  7. In cases where the candidates claim any sort of reservation/preference provided for each College, documents to prove such claims as described in Annexure B by each College. 
  8. Certificate in proof of SEBC/OBC/SC/ST status obtained from the Tahsildar concerned. 
  9. Eligibility / Equivalency Certificate from Kerala Nursing & Midwifery Council, wherever applicable.
  10. Transfer Certificate (T.C.).
  11. Course & Conduct Certificate.
  12. Migration Certificate, if applicable.
  13. Nativity Certificate, if applicable.
  14. Conduct certificate from the Head of Institution last studied in proof of clause (Prohibition of Ragging, point 3.2) of this Prospectus.
  15. Copy of Photo Id Proof (Aadhaar/ Voters ID/ Passport)
  16. Copy of the format of the online application form.
  17. Passport Size photographs (8 Nos.).

Additionally, two sets of photocopies of all the certificates/ documents attested by a Gazatted officer have to be submitted at the time of admission.
