Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV) invites applications for admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture,B.Tech. Agriculture,  M.Sc. Agriculture, M.Tech. Agriculture and Ph.D. Agriculture Course for the academic year 2023-2024

B.Sc. Hons (4 year)

Specialization:

• Agriculture
• Horticulture

Eligibility:  Candidate pass 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, obtained minimum 50% marks (40 % in case of SC/ST/PH candidates).

Minimum age should be not less 16 years as on 31 August of the admission year.

Selection Process:  Selection will be based on 10+2 class marks and  score in ICAR AIEEA.

Reservation:

1. Additional 20 seats for B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag., 6 Seats for B.Sc.( Hons.) Hort. courses are kept reserved for admission through All India Entrance Examination conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

2. Two (2) seats for B.Sc.(Hons.)Ag.  are kept reserved for the students belonging to Hill Tribe Quota recommended by GTA, Darjeeling, West Bengal.

3. Two (2) additional seats (supernumerary quota) for B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. for Jammu & Kashmir students under Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS).

Fees: Rs. 7,075/- Per Semester

B.Tech (4 year)

Specialization:

• Agriculture Engineering

Eligibility: Candidate pass 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, obtained minimum 50% marks (40 % in case of SC/ST/PH candidates).

Selection Process: Valid Score in WBJEE.

M.Sc. (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed  4-year B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture with minimum 50% marks.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test, followed by interview.

Fees: Rs. 8,650/- Per Semester

M.Tech. (2 year)

Specialization:

• Agriculture

Eligibility:  Candidate should have passed  4-year B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture with minimum 50% marks.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Ph.D. (3 year)

Specialization:

• Agriculture

Eligibility:  Candidate pass Master’s Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture with minimum 60% marks for General categories and 50% marks for SC/ST.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test, followed by interview.

• SC/ST: Rs. 500/-
• Physically Handicapped / Challenged / Differently Abled Person: Nil.

Application fee for PG Programs

• General/OBC: Rs. 1,200/
• SC/ST: Rs. 600/-
• Physically Handicapped / Challenged / Differently Abled Person: Nil.

Application fee for Ph.D. Programs

• General/OBC: Rs. 1,500/-
• SC/ST: Rs. 750/-
• Physically Handicapped / Challenged / Differently Abled Person: Nil.

Application fees once paid will not be refunded.

Steps to be followed

1. Go to the collge webiste

2. Candidate should have valid email-id and ph number.

3. All massages regardging admission will be sent to the student on mobile number or email.

4. Click on  Admission" and choose "UG admission/PG admission"

5. Fil in the online application form.

6. Note down system generated Application Number.

7. Candidates should fill all the details also required to choose password and security question and enter his/her answer.

8. After submission of the data, application number will be generated and will be used to complete the remaining steps of the application form.

9. Candidate will be able to login directly with his/her respective system generated Application No and chosen Password.

10. Upload

• your colour photograph and signature
• Self attested admit card of 10th class examination for age proof.
• Self attested marksheet of 10+2
• Self attested certificate of SC/ST/OBC/Ph category
• Self attested sport certificate if any

11. Pay appliction form feee- through

• Debit Card
• Net Banking
• RuPay

Off-line (e-Challan generation) mode. Off-line payment of application can be done at any branch of United Bank of India (UBI).

12. After successful payment of Application fee one SMS & Mail will be sent automatically by the system to your mobile phone and e-mail id, respectively, containing the Application No. and transaction details.

13. Application process is completed after successful submission of application fee.
