BVDU Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology and Biotechnology (RGIITB) offers B.Sc., M.Sc. and Diploma programs for the academic year 2022-2023

B.Sc. in Biotechnology (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidates should pass 10+2 from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be seured 45% (40% for SC/ ST).

Subject to the above conditions, the final admission is based solely on the merit at the all India entrance test (BBT) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.

Selection Process:  Basis of the merit obtained by them in the All India Common Entrance Test (CET-BBT).

Fees: Rs. 75,000/- Per Year

M.Sc. (2 year)

Specialization:

• Bioinformatics
• Biotechnology
• Medical Bio technology

Eligibility:

M.Sc. Bioinformatics:  Candidate should be a Graduate in any discipline of Science and Tech nology. (e.g. B.Sc. /BCS/B . Pharm . / MBBS /BDS / BHMS/BE etc.) with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate .

Post graduate in any discipline of Science and Technology with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) .

Subject to the above conditions, the final admission is based solely on the merit at the all India entrance test (MBI) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.

Selection Process: Valid Score in CET-MBT.

Fees: Rs. 1,10,000/- Per Year

M.Sc. Biotechnology: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy/ Medicine including homeopathy and ayurveda.

The candidate should have secured at least 50% ( 45% for SC/ST) in aggregate at graduate level university examination

Subject to the above conditions, the final admission is based solely on the merit of the All India entrance test (MBT) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University

Selection Process: Valid Score in CET-MBT.

Fees: Rs. 1,10,000/- Per Year

M.Sc. Medical Bio technology: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Pharmacy/ Medicine including homeopathy and Ayurveda / veterinary.

The candidate should have secured at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate at graduate level university examination

Selection Process: Valid Score in CET-MBT.

Fees: Rs. 1,10,000/- Per Year

Advance PG Diploma in BioInformatics (APGDB) (1 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduate in any discipline of Science and Technology. (e.g. B.Sc. / BCS /B . Pharm . / MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BE etc.) with minimum 45% (40% for Reserved Category ) .

Post graduate in any discipline of Science and Technology with minimum 45% (40% for Reserved Category ) .

In certain cases a blend of qualifications and relevant experience will be considered.

Selection Process:  Basis of graduations percentile, first come first serve basis.

Entrance test fee: Rs 1,700 /-

The entrance test fee shall be paid through payment gateway using internet banking mode or through debit/credit card.

Service charges and other taxes for transaction as applicable by bank has to be paid by the applicant.

The entrance test fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Candidates who remain absent for the entrance test will forfeit their entrance test fee.
