Aravindhar Agricultural Institute of Technology (AAIT) offers following programs for the academic year 2024-2025

B.Sc. (Hon) Agriculture (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 in following subjects.

Group I: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Group II: Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any one of the following subjects as fourth (elective) subject viz., Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Microbiology or Home science or Computer science.

Group II (A): Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

Minimum percentage of marks required

OC: 55%

BC/ BCC/ BCM: 50%

MBC/ DNC: 45%

SC/ ST: A pass in qualifying examination with qualifying subjects

Age: Candidates should not have completed the age of 21 years on the first day of July of the admission year for all the courses. However, for Scheduled castes/ Scheduled tribes, there is no age limit. 

• For physically challenged: Maximum age relaxable is 26 years.
• For Non Resident Indian (NRI) quota, the maximum age relaxable is 25 years.

Selection Process: Candidate will be selected on the basis of merit of qualifying exam.

• 65%  of the sanctioned admission capacity will be admitted through Tamil Nadu Agricultural University counseling system and the remaining
• 35% will be admitted directly by AAIT by following the Tamil Nadu Agricultural university eligibility norms and merit.

Diploma in Agriculture (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam from recognized board.

Candidates should have studied and passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or) Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology in the qualifying examinations.

Candidates who passed HSC under vocational stream and studied Biology and Vocational subject Agricultural Practices (theory and practical) are eligible to apply.

Candidates should not have completed the age of 21 years on the first day of July of the admission year  However, for Scheduled Castes / ScheduledCaste Arunthathiyar/ Scheduled Tribes there is no age limit.

Selection Process: Candidate will be selected on the basis of merit of qualifying exam.

Click on " New Registration"

Complete the candidate Registration form to receive your user ID and password in YOUR registered personal mobile and e-mail. 

Note down the User ID and Password sent to your registered mobile and e-mail. 

Click on “Proceed to Application” button.

Complete the Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, and Step 4 of online application.

Upload all required documents as per asked.

Complete payment process using net banking of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC / SCA / ST Candidates.)

Application form fee for Diploma program is Rs. 200/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ SCA/ ST)

Login again with your user ID and password to download and print Joint Declaration Form and Appendices / Checklist.

Signed Joint Declaration Form and other documents and originals must be produced at the time of admission / certificate verification only.

Candidate who are applying under reservation quota must submit the form signed by competent authority.
