10+2 pass  with at least 45% Marks in aggregates from a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the four subjects: (i) Chemistry, (ii) Computer Sc/ Information Sc., (iii) Bio-Technology (iv) Biology.

Lateral Entry- Duration 3 year: Candidates who have passed Diploma from any recognized Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering/Technology are eligible for admission to Second year in any branch of Engg./ Technology.

Seat distribution: The admission for 75% of the sanctioned seats to B.Tech (Four Year Course) , B.Tech (Three Year Course through Lateral Engineering Entry Scheme) , are made by Haryana State Counseling Society (HSCS, Chandigarh www.hscs.org), through On-line Off-Campus Counseling at www.tehadmissions.gov.in .

The admissions to remaining 25% seats are made by the institution as per guidelines issued from time to time by HSCS/ Haryana Govt. Admission Procedure.
