M.Sc.(Ag.) Statistics: Candidate should hold a Degree of B.Sc.(Ag.)/B.Sc.(Hort.)/B.V.Sc.& A.H./ B.Tech.(Agril.Engg.) from State AgricultureUniversities / Institutes accredited by ICAR. 

M.Sc.(Ag.)Biotechnology: Candidate should hold a Degree of B.Sc.(Ag.)/B.Sc.(Fo.)/B.Sc.(Hort.) from State Agriculture Universities / Institutesaccredited by ICAR. 

(a) Candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree examination securing an Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of at least 6.60/10.00 in ten-point scale, 3.25/5.00 in five-point scale, 2.60/4.00 in four-point scale for General category whereas for SC/ST/Physically Challenged (PC) candidates, the said requirement is an OGPA of at least 5.60/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.00, respectively. 

In other cases, where grade-points are not awarded and only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for G eneral category, whereas for SC/ST/PC categories the requirement is 50% marks. 

(Please note that equivalence between OGPA and % marks will not be acceptable) 

(b) 60% marks or OGPA of 6.60 in 10 point scale in the subject of study. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Candidate should hold a Degree of B.Sc. or its equivalent with Mathematics and/or Biology as one of the subjects.

(ii) B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Sc.(Ag.)/B.Sc.(Forestry)/B.Sc.(Hort.)/B.V.Sc & A.H./ B.Tech.(Dairy Science/ Technology)/B.Tech.(Ag. Engg.)/B.F.Sc./B.C.S./ B.A.M.S/MBBS/B.Pharma/BDS/BIT/ BITM/ BHMS/B.Tech./B.Sc. (Biotech) from any recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for General and 45% of marks in aggregate for SC/ST/PH candidates, and 55% for Graduate of Agriculture and allied subjects.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Candidate should hold a Degree of B.Sc. (+3 Sc. With Honours/Core/Major in Biotechnology/Botany/ Zoology / Microbiology).

Candidates must have obtained minimum 50% marks in concernedHonours/Core/Major subjects.

For Graduates of Agriculture and allied subjects who areeligible for admission into M. Sc. (Microbiology), should have minimum 55% marks inaggregate or OGPA 5.5 in 10 point scale or equivalent.

A candidate belonging to SC/STshall have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in concerned Honours subject.

Candidate should hold a Degree of B.Sc. (+3 Sc. with Honours/Core/Major in Botany).

Candidates must have obtained minimum 50% marks in concernedHonours/Core/Major subjects.

For Graduates of Agriculture and allied subjects who areeligible for admission into M.Sc. (Microbiology), should have minimum 55% marks inaggregate or OGPA 5.5 in 10 point scale or equivalent.

A candidate belonging to SC/ST shall have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in concerned Honours subject.

Candidate should hold a Degree of B.Sc. (10+3 Sc. with Honours/Core/Major in Chemistry).

Candidates must have obtained minimum 50% marks in concernedHonours/Core/Major subjects.

For Graduates of Agriculture and allied subjects who areeligible for admission into M.Sc. (Microbiology), should have minimum 55% marks inaggregate or OGPA 5.5 in 10 point scale or equivalent.

A candidate belonging to SC/STshall have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in concerned Honours subject.
