Eligibility and Selection Procedure for LLM in Jorhat Law College Candidate should pass LL.B-3 years/ B.A B.Sc., B.Com. LLB 5 years (in any 5 years integrated course)Degree exam with minimum 50% marks from recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC) and Bar Council of India (BCI). There will be 5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Disable Candidates. Candidates appearing in final year examination may also apply but at the time of admission they must produce result of aforesaid course. Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Exam. |

Selection Process
Admission in BA LLB is based on score obtained in Common Entrance Exam.
Admission to LLB course is based on merit of qualifying exam.
BA LLB and LLB Admission Process
Candidate can visit admission office of the campus to get appication form and prospectus, fill detail and submit.

LLM Admission Process
Candidate must pass entrance exam conducted by the university/ centre in the month of June every year to get admission in the LLM course
The university will notify in the month of April-May every year for admission in LL.M course.
Candidates who are selected for admission has to appear before admission committee with all original certificates and requirements on scheduled date and time.
In, admission, there will be reserved of 7.5% for ST, 15% for SC, 27% for OBC, 3% for disabled who are resident of Assam.
Further there will be 10 marks weightage in entrance test for those students who have passed Law course in last academic session or are appeared in final examination from Dibrugarh University.
Subject to appearance in entrance test, One seat will be reserved for the son/daughter of a permanent teacher of the centre, if applies.
