Selection Process

Admission to the UG program will be fully online based on Merit. 

Selection to the PG programs will be made strictly on the basis of merit on marks obtain in honours Paper.

As per order of the Govt. of West Bengal 60% of total seats in each subject will be reserved for the students of V.U & autonomous college(s) affiliated to Vidyasagar University and the rest 40% seats are open toall.

PG Admission Process 

Candidates applied for different PG courses are being advised to report within 2.00 pm to their respective PG Departments with the following documents:

1. Admission form (downloaded) duly signed by candidate and guardian.

2. Original Payment Receipt of the Admission Fees paid.

3. Original Admit card (as age proof) of Madhyamik or equivalent Examination.

4. Original Mark-sheet of H.S. or equivalent (10+2) Examination.

5. Original Mark-sheet of Graduation Level Examination.

6. Self attested photocopies of above mentioned Admit Card and Marksheets.

7. Original Migration Certificate if from other Universities.

8. Two colour photographs to be pasted on the Identity Card Form & Blood Group Certificate.

9. One colour photograph to be pasted at the designated place of the Admission Form.

10. Two photocopies of and Original Caste Certificate (Required for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
