Admission Process
Selection for B.Tech. programs is as on-
- 50% seats will be filled on the rank obtained in JEE MAIN.
- 50% seats is for candidate applying on the basis of HPCET.
- In case the seats remain vacant after JEE MAIN and HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of 10+2 examination conducted bya recognized Board or University.
For B.Pharm, BHMCT, BCA candidate has to pass HPCET. In case the seats remain vacant after admitting through HPCET, the remaining seatswill be filled up on the basis of merit of 10+2 examination conducted by a recognizedBoard/University.
Selection to B.Arch. course is based on NATA. 50% NATA, 50 % based on marks obtained in 10+2.
For admission in BBA course, admission witll be on the basis of merit of 10+ 2 examination conducted by a recognizedBoard/University.
For admission in M.Tech. course, canddiate should secure valid score in GATE. In case the seats remain vacant after admission through GATE, the vacant seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of HPCET. In case the seats remain vacant after admission through on merit of National Level Test and HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up on thebasis of merit of B.E./B.Tech. Degree awarded by a recognized University.
For admission in M.Pharm, candidate should secure valid score in GPAT. In case the seats remain vacant after admitting candidate through merit of GPAT, the vacant seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of HPCET. In case the seats remain vacant after merit of National Level Test and HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up onthe basis of merit of B. Pharmacy degreeawarded by a recognised University.
For admission in MBA, Candidate should have valid score in CAT, CMAT, MAT /HPCET. In case the seats remain vacant after admitting through National Level Tests, the same shall be filled up on the basis of merit of HPCET.
In case the seats remain vacant after admitting through National Level Tests and HPCET, the remaining seats will befilled up on the basis of merit of Bachelor Degree examination conducted by a recognisedUniversity.
Selection to MCA programs is based onHPCET. In case the seats remain vacant after admission through HPCET the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of Bachelor's Degree.
For M.Sc. program candidate has to pass HPCET. In case the seats remain vacant after admission through HPCET the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of Bachelor's Degree.
How to apply
Interested candidate may visit university website to apply online.
A separate application is required to be submitted for each program.
(i) Candidates who have qualified HPCET need not to apply for admission-cum- counseling form on the basis of HPCET. Such candidate may appear directly in the counseling as per counseling schedule given in the admission Brochure.
(ii) Candidates who have obtained minimum cut of marks in National level test/ qualifying Examination are required to pay non- refundable application processing fee of
- Rs. 1550/- for candidates of General category and
- Rs. 1400/- for candidates of SC/ST/BPL Categories
before submission of the application ONLINE.
(iii) If candidates apply on the basis of both National level test and qualifying Examination, the candidates are required to pay non- refundable application processing fee of
- Rs. 3100/- for candidates of General category and
- Rs. 2800/- for candidates of SC/ST/BPL Categories

Click on Registration
Fill the application form as per instruction given in the website.
After filling the basic details, the candidate will receive user name and password.
Keep the form number, user name and password safe for future reference.
Now, click on login using the user form number, name and password.
Select the admission criteria through
National Level Test, HPCET And on the basis of Qualifying Examination for appearing in Counseling.
Upload the scanned copy of your own signature and photograph and your parent/guardian’s digital signature.
Choose category you belong to. (Make sure youd should have caste certificate issued by competent authority)
Candidates who haven’t appeared for HPCET have to pay application processing fee of
- Rs. 1550/- for candidates of General category and
- Rs. 1400/- for candidates of Reserved Categories before submitting the application form.

Payment can be made through Offline link to generate PNB Challan and Online Fee Payment Link.

The candidate, after making the fee payment will be able to submit the application form.
A print out of the filled in application form should be sent to either post or e-mail at himtuadmission@gmail.com.

For each program, a separate application form has to be submitted by the candidate.
The candidate must produce the following documents, in original, along-with one set of photocopies duly attested at the time of Counseling:
(i) Certificate of having passed the qualifying examination.
(ii) Marks-sheet issued by the Board/University.
(iii) Date of Birth Proof Certificate (10th calss certificates showing the date of birth).
(iv) National Level Entrance Examination/HPCET Score Card.
(v) Character Certificate from the Head of Institution last attended.
(vi) Bonafide/domicile Certificate issued by the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate Executive Magistrate, if applicable.
(vii) Reserved Category Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable.
(viii) Physically Challenged Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable.
(ix) Income Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applied under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme.
(x) An undertaking/affidavit attested by the Executive Magistrate if applied under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme.
(xi) Kashmiri Migrants and domicile certificate issued by Competent Authority, if applied under Supernumerary Kashmiri Migrant Quota.
(xii) In case an intervening period/gap is involved, a certificate/affidavit issued by a Class-I Gazetted Officer/Notary Public shall be required for the entire intervening period/gap showing candidate’s preoccupation after leaving the Institution last attended.
