Eligibility and Selection Procedure for PhD in Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology Candidate should hold Master’s Degree in relevant stream. Minimum marks shall be obtained 60%. Candidates with M.Sc./MCA unless they have a subsequent M. Phil. Degree will be considered equivalent to candidate with a B.Tech/ B.E Degree and are required to fulfil (additional) course and research requirements. There is no age limit applicable to this program. Selection Process: Direct Interview for candidates with valid JRF/ DST Inspire/ PM scholarship/ Visvesvaraya Ph.D scheme at the time of application. Shortlisting will be on the basis of a proctored online test and the selection will be based on a personal interview. The interview will happen via a video conferencing mode either through Skype or Google Hangout/ Meet.

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT) - Admission Procedure 2021
Candidates needs to submit the online application along with the Statement of Purpose (SOP) by clicking on the link given below or check institute website. Application fee (non-refundable) is Rs. 1200/- plus GST@ 18%. (Rupees One thousand two hundred only). Non-Refundable.
For BTech Admission
The admission to the candidates to the programs will be based on the All India Rank of Joint Entrance Examination 2021 (JEE-2021) Main, which is conducted by CBSE. Therefore, candidates who are appearing for JEE 2021 Main can only apply for these programs.
For MTech Admission
For GATE qualified candidates the merit list for admission will be prepared on the basis of GATE score and/or personal interview of candidates applying for admission. Counseling for allotment of specialization will be done online.
For Non-GATE qualified candidates the merit list for admission will be prepared based on the weightage on qualifying degree and interview.
For MDes Admission
Eligible Candidates need to appear for DAIICT’s Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted at selected centers all over the country.
Final merit list of confirmed and wait-list candidates based on entrance test and interview performance will be posted on the website of the Institute. The offer letter for admission will be sent by the admission committee through post or email to candidates.
Note: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, if conditions are not favorable the interview part of the selection process may be annulled, and the merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of the DAT.

The Candidate has to satisfy the eligibility criteria in order for her/his application to be considered for final admission.
Eligible Candidates have to appear for Entrance Test conducted at selected centers in the country. The online application procedure will guide you through the necessary procedures for application fee payment, registering for entrance test, choosing test center.
Final merit list for admission is prepared based on the aggregate score in the entrance test. The top 120 scorers are offered confirmed admission and there will be a waitlist.
