Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BTech in BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology Candidate should pass 10+2 from recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Minimum marks shall be obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidatesbelonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Lateral Entry- Duration 2 years: Candidate should have passed Diploma in Engineering exam from an AICTE approved institution / UGC approved Universities with a minimum of 45%marks (40% for SC/ST/Non Creamy Layer OBC/Non Creamy Layer MBC candidatesof Rajasthan) or the candidate should have Degree in Science (B.Sc.) withmathematics as a subject with minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/NonCreamy Layer OBC/Non Creamy Layer MBC candidates of Rajasthan). Selection Process: Candidates of Rajasthan Domicile and other States should apply through REAP. Under Management category, application must be submitted through BKBIET’s prescribed form, along with necessary documents. Seats Categories: Rajasthan Domicile (70%), From Other States (15%) and Management Quota (15%). |
