BLDE University invites application for All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test 2016 (BLDEU PGET 2016) that leads to admissions for the following MD, MS and Diploma courses-
M D - Radiology, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Anaesthesiology, Community Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy.
M S - General Surgery, Obst. & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, E.N.T
Diploma - DGO, D’Ortho, DLO, DCH, DA, DCP
Entrance Test Centers- Vijayapura (Bijapur), Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai

Eligibility

Eligibility requirements to appear for BLDEU-PGET 2016

(i) The candidates  should have passed MBBS from the college recognized by Medical Council of India

(ii) As specified by Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be-

a) General category 50%

b) SC/ST & OBC (OBC as declared by Govt. of Karnataka from time to time) Category 40%

c) Candidates with 40% to 70% Locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority) category 45%

(iii) The candidate should have completed the compulsory rotating internship/would be completing by 30th April 2016

(iv) Foreign/PIO/NRI students are exempted from BLDEU-PGET-2016

Note- Eligibility criteria changes if any, effected by MCI or any other competent Regulatory Authorities shall be adopted.

Hard copy of the generated application form along with relevant enclosures should be sent to the University

Admission Fee-

Payment of entrance test / application fees Rs. 4000/- can be paid ONLINE or through DD.

If paid Online please-

1. Take the print of Online Payment Receipt and attach the same along with Application form and

also keep a copy for record.

If paid through DD please ensure that-

 1. Demand Draft for Rs 4,000/- is drawn in favour of The Registrar, BLDE University, payable at Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103

2. Ensure that the D.D is payable at Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103, Karnataka State. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, even if the application is rejected for any reasons (because of incomplete information or ineligibility of the candidate) or if the candidate does not appear for the Entrance Test.

b. To generate the application form, Data Entry has to be made properly and completely, as this data form University data base and will be considered as final record.

c. The completed application form must have the signature of the candidate, left thumb impression, signature of candidate's parent/guardian.

Result and Rank Announcement On or before- 15th January 2016

First Round of Counseling & Admission- 10th March 2016 (onwards)

Second round of Counseling & Admission of seats subject to vacancies- 21st April 2016

Commencement of Academic Session- 02nd May 2016.

Comments

Test Scheme-BLDEU-PGET-2016 will have the following pattern-

There will be only one test which will have 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The time allotted for the test shall be 180 minutes.

The test will begin at 10.00 am and end at 1.00 pm Candidates are required to mark their answers in an OMR (Optical Mark Reader) Answer Sheet. Each correct answer is awarded with one mark.

There will be no negative marking. No marks will be awarded for multiple marking (marking multiple responses) for any question.
