KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) is being conducted by Karnataka Exaination Authority  to select candidate to give admission in first year in folloeing course  in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka for the academic year 2021-2022.

Eligibility

Medical / Dental courses (MBBS / BDS): Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languagesand obtained a Minimum of 50% of Marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biologysubjects. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates) 

AYUSH - courses Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Homoeopathy : Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languagesand obtained a Minimum of 50% of Marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biologysubjects. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates) 

Architecture course (B.Arch): Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with Mathematics as Compulsoryoptional subject and obtained a Minimum of 50% of Marks in aggregate in all thesubjects. (45% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates) .
Engineering / Technology courses (B.E. / B.Tech): Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languagesand obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics alongwith Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer. (40% for SC, ST, Cat1,2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates) 

Farm Science courses means, B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons) Sericulture, B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture, B.Sc (Hons) Forestry, B.Sc. Agri Bio Tech, B.H.Sc.(Home Science), B.Tech (Agri.Engg),  B.Tech (Food Technology), B.Tech (Dairy Tech),  B.F.Sc (Fisheries),B.Tech (Food Science &Tech)., B.Sc. (Hons) Agri. Marketing &   o-Op.:    Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematicsand Biology as optional subjects. a. In the case of Agriculturist Quota, the merit list will be prepared based on 25% marks each, secured in concernedcombinations in II year PUC (PCMB) & CET and 50% marks secured in the Practical Test. In case of B.V.Sc & AH meritwill be prepared based on 50% of Marks secured in CET (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and 50% of marks scored inthe practical test.b. Minimum of 50% marks in Practical Examination is required to claim seat under Agriculturist Quota. Further, AgriculturistQuota is applicable only for course.

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V. Sc. & A.H.) : Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std. and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks inPhysics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and3B category candidates).

B-Pharma: Candidate pass  10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistryand Mathematics and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics,Chemistry, Biology subjects. (40% for SC, ST)

OR

Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by thePharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has securedminimum of 45% marks. (40% for SC, ST).

2nd Year B. Pharma: Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by thePharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has securedminimum of 45% marks. (40% for SC, ST)

Pharma-D: Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistryand Mathematics. ORPassed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by thePharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Interested candidate have to apply online for exam.

Candidate may visit  at Website http://kea.kar.nic.in to apply online.

Before filling application form candidate ensure that email-id and mobile numbar should be valid. 

Candidate must fill application form according to the instruction given.

Candidate must keep following documents for future reference.

(i) At least three printouts of the finally submitted online Application.

(ii) Proof of fee paid

(iii) 2-3 copies of identical Photograph that scanned and uploaded on the Online Application.

 

Admit Card

Karnataka Common Entrance Test has declared to be held from 28th August 2021 and 29th August 2021.

Candidate can downlod Hall Ticket from KEA website.

Individuals should have to carry KCET 2021 Hall Ticket while attending for the exam.
