Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) offers admissions to the following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

B.Tech (4 year)

Specialization:

• Biotechnology
• Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

Eligibility:

B.Tech. in Biotechnology: Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics & Biology/ Biotechnology shall be the compulsory subjects. Besides above, the candidate can have any two out of Chemistry, Computer Science, English and Maths as other subjects.  Minimum marks shall be obtained 60%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Merit based.

B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology: Minimum 60% aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one out of the following subjects:

Chemistry, Computer Science, Informatic Practices, Multimedia & Web Technology, Engineering Drawing, Engineering Graphics and English.

Selection Process: Valid Score in in JEE MAIN.

Fees: Rs. 8,60,000/- Total 

BBA (3 year)

Seats: 240

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be secured 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) in 10+2 or its equivalent exam.

Selection Process:  Direct admission to candidates with minimum 75% marks or equivalent in 10+2 examination.

Or

Admission on the basis of marks obtained in entrance test JIIT-UGET or CUET-UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

A separate merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in JIIT-UGET and CUET-UG. The admission will be offered to the candidates as per their merit.

Eligibility: Candidate must have passed 10+2 exam from recognized board.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) in 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics / any course of Computer Science as a compulsory subject.

Selection Process:  Direct admission to candidates with minimum 75% marks or equivalent in Mathematics or Computer Science (subject) and English each, in 10+2 examination.

Or

The admission will remain provisional till all eligibility.

M. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering:  Candidate should hold a BE/B.Tech. Degree in any discipline or M. Sc. in Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Operation Research / Statistics/ Physics/Electronics/ Instrumentation or MCA. 

M. Tech. in Electronics and Comm. Engg.: Candidate should hold a BE/ B. Tech. Degree in Electronics & Comm. Engineering/ Computer Science and Engg./ Electronics & Computer Science /Information Technology/ Electronics Engg. / Electrical  Engg./ Electronics & Electrical Engg. / Instrumentation Engg. / Electronics & Instrumentation Engg. / Information and Communication Technology/ Instrumentation & Control Engg/ Mechatronics or M. Sc in Physics with specialization in Electronics/ Electronics.

Selection Process: Direct admission to candidates with valid GATE score / any other national level entrance exam.

M.Sc. in Microbiology, nvironmental Biotechnology: Candidate should hold a B.Sc. General or B.Sc. (Hons) or an equivalent in any branch of Life Sciences/ Medical Sciences/ any branch of Biology under regular pattern from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50% (45% for SC/ST).

M.Sc. in Quantitative Economics: Candidate should hold a  B.Sc. Degree in Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics or a B. Stat degree, or aBE/B Tech Degree with knowledge of Economics and Mathematics at the undergraduate level.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50% (45% for SC/ST).

Eligibility: 

Candidate should hold

(i) M.Tech Degree of a University or equivalent for Ph.D in Engineering / Technology in respective branch with 60% aggregate marks.

(ii) Master’s Degree of a University for Ph.D. in Sciences / Humanities / Social Sciences / Management in respective discipline or equivalent with 60% aggregate marks.

(iii) MCA Degree with 60% Aggregate Marks or equivalent and two years experience only for Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology Departments.

(iv) Consistently good academic performance is desirable.

For M.Tech program, GATE qualified candidate may apply directly and Non GATE qualified candidates should clear the PGET conducted by the university.

If a candidate is applying under JEE (Main) 2023 category and also wants to apply under NRI Category/ 10+2 marks based admission to B. Tech. in Bioinformatics  programs, the candidate must apply separately by paying the required application fee.

For MBA program, the filled application form, along with the photocopy of valid CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ ATMA score card, to be submitted to JBS Help Desk/Registrar’s office.

After 15-20 days of submission of the application form, candidates shall be able to see the receipt details of their applications and essential data on the website.

Candidates are advised to keep with them the original receipt of the Speed Post/ Registered Post issued by the post office and photocopy of the filled-in Application Form for future reference.
