Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MSc in Jaypee Institute of Information Technology M.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics: Candidate should hold Degree of B.Sc. (Hons.)/ B.Sc. under regular study pattern securing the minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent. M.Sc. in Microbiology, Environmental Biotechnology: Candidate should hold B.Sc. General or B.Sc. (Hons) or an equivalent in any branch of Life Sciences/ Medical Sciences/ any branch of Biology under regular pattern securingthe minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent. M.Sc. in Quantitative Economics: Candidate should hold B.Sc. Degree in Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics or a B. Stat degree, or aBE/B Tech degree with knowledge of Economics and Mathematics at the undergraduate level. Selection Process: Direct admission to candidates with minimum 75% marks or equivalent in or equivalent in their qualifying degree. Or Admission on the basis of marks obtained in entrance test JIIT-PGET or CUET-PG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). A separate merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in JIIT-PGET and CUET-PG. The admission will be offered to the candidates as per their merit. |

Selection Process
Admission to the UG/ PG program is based on score obtained in JIIT-UGET or CUET-UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
For Direct admission candidate should secured minimum 75% marks or equivalent in 10+2 examination.
For B.Tech. program candidate will be given admission throug JEE MAIN.
Admission to the M.Tech program is based on marks obtained in GATE /PGET.
Admission to the Ph.D program is based on rank secured in NET/ SLET/ UGC/CSIR (JRF) or equivalent national level examination.

Candidate can go to the admission counter of all Jaypee Universities to apply off-line.
Application forms can also be obtained by post by sending a demand draft in in favour of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, payable at Noida/ Delhi.
The RegistrarJIIT, A-10,Sector-62,Noida-201 309For M.Tech program, GATE qualified candidate may apply directly and Non GATE qualified candidates should clear the PGET conducted by the university.
If a candidate is applying under JEE (Main) category and also wants to apply under NRI Category/ 10+2 marks based admission to B. Tech. in Bioinformatics programs, the candidate must apply separately by paying the required application fee.
After 15-20 days of submission of the application form, candidates shall be able to see the receipt details of their applications and essential data on the website.
Candidates are advised to keep with them the original receipt of the Speed Post/ Registered Post issued by the post office and photocopy of the filled-in Application Form for future reference.
