Eligibility and Selection Procedure for PhD in Jaypee Institute of Information Technology Candidate should hold (i) M.Tech Degree of a University or equivalent for Ph.D. in Engineering / Technology in respective branch with 60% aggregate marks. (ii) Master’s Degree of a University for Ph.D. in Sciences / Humanities / Social Sciences / Management / Pharmacy in respective discipline or equivalent with 60% aggregate marks. (iii) MCA Degree with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent and two years experience only for Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology Departments. (iv) Consistently good academic record / performance with 1st division all through; i.e. 60% aggregate marks or equivalent. Selection Process: (i) Satisfying the requirements of minimum qualifications as specified above. (ii) Performance in interview for those who have qualified in NET / SLET / UGC / CSIR (JRF) or equivalent national level examinations or are in receipt of fellowships like DST/DBT/DAE/CSIR/QIP/ICMR/DRDO/INSPIRE etc. (iii) Performance in : (a) The Ph.D. Entrance Test for all those who are not covered by B. (ii) and (b) The subsequent interview, for short-listed candidates only, based on the written test and those of B (ii). |

Selection Process
Admission to the UG/ PG program is based on score obtained in JIIT-UGET or CUET-UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
For Direct admission candidate should secured minimum 75% marks or equivalent in 10+2 examination.
For B.Tech. program candidate will be given admission throug JEE MAIN.
Admission to the M.Tech program is based on marks obtained in GATE /PGET.
Admission to the Ph.D program is based on rank secured in NET/ SLET/ UGC/CSIR (JRF) or equivalent national level examination.

Candidate can go to the admission counter of all Jaypee Universities to apply off-line.
Application forms can also be obtained by post by sending a demand draft in in favour of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, payable at Noida/ Delhi.
The RegistrarJIIT, A-10,Sector-62,Noida-201 309For M.Tech program, GATE qualified candidate may apply directly and Non GATE qualified candidates should clear the PGET conducted by the university.
If a candidate is applying under JEE (Main) category and also wants to apply under NRI Category/ 10+2 marks based admission to B. Tech. in Bioinformatics programs, the candidate must apply separately by paying the required application fee.
After 15-20 days of submission of the application form, candidates shall be able to see the receipt details of their applications and essential data on the website.
Candidates are advised to keep with them the original receipt of the Speed Post/ Registered Post issued by the post office and photocopy of the filled-in Application Form for future reference.
