Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) offers BA LLB and LLM program for the academic year 2023-2024

BA LLB (Hons) (5 year)

Seats: 120

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 with minimum 45% in case of general category and 40% for reserve category.

No Age Limit.

Selection Process: Valid Score in CLAT.

Reservation:

The seats in the University shall be filled as follows;- Out of the total sanctioned seats –

(i) 50% of the seats shall be filled as per the rules of AP State;

(ii) 40% of the seats shall be allotted on all India basis;

(iii) remaining 10% of the seats allotted to Foreign Citizens / Non Resident Indians / Non Resident Indians Sponsored.

Selection Process: Valid Score in CLAT.

Fees: Rs. 88,000/- Per Year

LLM (1 year) 

Seats: 60

Eligibility: Candidate should hold BA LLB or LLB Degree from recognised institute/ university.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%. 

In case of SC/ST candidates, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Ph.D. in Law (3 year)

Eligibility:  Candidate must possess Master’s Degree in Law /LL.M (from any recognized university or its equivalent from an accredited institution /Foreign University) with a minimum of 55% of marks or B+ grade.

Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to SC/ST/BC/ Specially Abled and other categories of candidates as per the UGC Regulations, 2016.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test and Interview.

The following candidates are exempted to appear for the Entrance Test. 3.1.1 Candidates who have qualified in JRF, if they apply within two years of their date of eligibility.

Candidates who have qualified UGC- NET/SLET and having a minimum of two publications in any referred Journal of National/International standards i.e , ISBN/eISBN or ISSN/ eISSN.

The Test shall have 50% of Research Methodology and 50% in Jurisprudenceand Constitutional Law.

The Admission test will be conducted for 100 Marks and the candidate should secure minimum 50% of marks to be eligible for interview. After qualifying the Test, the eligible candidate will have to attend the interview.

Interested candidates should download the application form from the official website of college.

Filled in application form should be submitted along with the processing fee of Rs. 2,000/- for Indian students, and Rs. 5,000/- for NRI/Foreign students/NRI sponsored students.

Fee can be paid as Demand Draft, drawn in favour of Registrar, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University payable at Vishakapatnam.

1. Age Proof (10th stand marksheet)

2. Proof of educational qualifications 10th, 10+2, UG degree

3. T.C. & C.C. issued by the last educational institution

4. Caste Certificate/Income Certificate/Disability Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled Person (Latest)

5. Domicile Certificate, if local candidate (Or any proof verifying you as a local candidate)

6. Self-addressed envelope

7. One passport size photograph

8. The filled in application form along with Demand Draft of processing fee.

List of Enclosures for Foreign/NRI students:

1. Copy of the Passport of the candidate/ Sponsor.

2. Character certificate issued from the institution last attended (Latest).

3. School leaving Certificate/ College leaving Certificate.

4. Migration Certificate.

5. Statement of marks at the qualifying examination (Intermediate/PUC/HSC) and 10th standard.

6. Copy of the statement of marks at the Qualifying Examination (equivalent to Intermediate /PUC /HSC /etc) and percentage / conversion certificate in case of Grades.

7. Copy of the Birth Certificate.

8. Medical Certificate.

9. Eight Stamp Sized Photographs of the Candidate.

10. One Photograph of the Local Guardian (who shall be a near/close relative), if any.
