Exam Details:

Government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulatory Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, (Herein after called the Act). 

 

According to G.R. No. CET-2015/C.No.379/MSHI-2, Dated 4 th December, 2015 and G.R. No. CET-2016/F.No.84/MSHI-2, Dated 7th April, 2016 the Competent Authority shall conduct the MAH-B.P.Ed. CET 2020 for the admission to the First Year of the Two Year Full Time Professional Undergraduate Degree Course in Physical Education leading to B.P.Ed. Degree, for the Academic Year 2020- 2021 .

 

The admissions to the following institutes will be done by the Competent Authority, provided they are approved and recognized by Government of Maharashtra and are Affiliated to any of the Nonagricultural University in the State of Maharashtra State :

 

1. All Government Aided Colleges (including Aided Minority Institutions) offering B.P.Ed. Course.

 

2. All University Departments (Aided/Self Financed) offering B.P.Ed. Course.

 

3. All University Managed Institutes offering B.P.Ed. Course.

 

4. All Un-aided colleges (including Minority Institutions) offering B.P.Ed. Course, covered as per the Act.

 

 

 

Syllabus and Marking Scheme for MAH-BP.Ed. CET 2020:

 

The On Line CET comprises of One paper with Three Sections:

Syllabus and Marking Scheme for MAH-B.P.Ed. -Physical Efficiency

 

Test ( Field Test) 2020:

 

The candidates will also have to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (Field Test) to be conducted

 

only at following selected cities in Maharashtra : Amravati, Nagpur , Pune , Mumbai ,Aurangabad ,Barshi and Jalgaon.

 

 

Field test comprises of five sections:

Eligibility:

The candidate should be an Indian National

Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree Exam in any discipline with minimum 50 % marks), ( Minimum 45% in case of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State ) And having at least participation in the inter-college /inter-zonal /district / school competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU (Association of Indian Universities )/IOA (Indian Olympic Association)/SGFI(School games Federation of India) /Government of India

OR

2. The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (BPE) with at least 45% marks (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories belonging only to Maharashtra State)

OR

3. The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 45% marks.(Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) and studied Physical Education as compulsory /Elective subject.

OR 

4. The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 45% marks (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories belonging only to Maharashtra State )  and having participated in National /Inter-University /State Competitions or secured 1st ,2nd or 3rd position in Inter-college /inter–zonal /district /school competition in Sports and Games as recognized by Respective Federation / AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India.

OR

5. The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with participation in International Competitions 

OR

6. The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with minimum  45% (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class belonging only to Maharashtra State) and atleast three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers/ coaches).

OR

7. Candidates who has appeared for the Qualifying Examination in the academic year 2019-2020 and qualified the B.P.Ed CET 2020 successfully, they will become eligible for admission to B.P.ED.2020 only if they produce Marks Memo/ Degree Certificate of the Qualifying Examination and fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above while filling in the Admission Form in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2020.

Age Criteria: There is no upper age limit for admission to MAH-B.P.Ed. CET Examinationin the Academic Year 2020-2021. The age will be calculated as on 1/07/2020.

Application Form for MAH-B.P.Ed CET 2020 will be filled through Online Mode (CBT-ComputerBased Test) only.

CET Fee For Open Category / EWS candidates from Maharashtra State, Out SideMaharashtra State (OMS)/All India Candidates belonging to all Categories, andJ&K Migrant Candidates.

CET Fee-For Candidates belonging to Backward Class Categories (SC, ST,VJ/DT- NT (A), NT- (B), NT-(C), NT-(D), OBC ,SBC and SEBC categories)belonging to Maharashtra State only having valid Caste Certificate and havingvalid Non-creamy Layer Certificate valid up to March 2021 for DT-VJ, NT1,2,3,OBC , SBC and SEBC Candidates

Step 1.

Applicants to visit CET’s website www.mahacet.org and open the given link. For filling theOnline Application Form, click on the button MAH-B.P.ED CET- 2020 which will open a new screen.

To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and E-mail ID. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Applicant should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password in their Note book and preserve it. An Email and SMS indicating the Provisional Registration Number and Password will also be sent on the Mobile Number given by the candidate.

 

Step 2.

Fill up application form by providing personal and academic details

Upload  recent Photograph and Signature  or required documents

 

Step 3.

Pay application fee.

  • Application form processing fees is to be paid through onlinesystem only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card(RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ MobileWallets.
  • No other mode of payment shall be permitted.This fee is non-refundable and non transferable under any circumstances. 

On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.
