Exam Details

Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) is a National Level Entrance Test for admission to  admit eligible candidates in the courses offered by Sharda University. 

SUAT is applicable to the following programs:

B.Tech

BCA

MCA

B.Tech + MBA Integrated

B.Tech + M.Tech Integrated

BBA

B.Com

BBA + MBA Integrated

MBA

Journalism and Mass Communication

Design

Integrated Law

BA (Hons)

B.Sc in all disciplines.

If  candidate is rank holder  in a National/State Level Test as specified below, will be exempted from SUAT: 

Engineering: JEE-Main     

Engineering: UPSEE   Rank

Law: CLAT / LSAT       

MBA: CAT / MAT / XAT       

Architecture:  NATA only          

MBBS:  Through NEET only

BDS:  Through NEET only

About Exam

Duration of the program is 1.5 hours

SUAT consists of a total of 100 questions.

SUAT is a computer based online test.

SUAT is an objective type test with four alternate answers. The test is taken to assess the problem-solving skills, analytical skills and language proficiency of the candidates.

SUAT ‘s different sections for different disciplines:

Under Graduate (PCM):  English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, Maths & Chemistry.

Under Graduate (Non-PCM):  General Awareness, English Communication, Logical Reasoning & Critical Thinking & Quantitative Aptitude.

Under Graduate (Bio):  English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, Biology & Chemistry.

Post Graduate: General Awareness, Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude.

There is no negative marking in SUAT.

Candidate needs to secure at least 35% marks to qualify SUAT exam.

The candidates will be communicated the SUAT results through official e-mail.

Schedule

The exam is scheduled on 21 September 2021

Duration of SUAT is 90 minutes (1.5 hours).

Eligibility

M.Tech: Candidate should have passed B.E/ B.Tech Degree exam from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 60%.

Admission will be given to the candidates through valid scores of GATE/UPSEE. 

For all UG programs: Candidate should pass 10+2 with 60% marks.

 Minimum age shall be 17 years. 

For all PG programs: Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree in relevant stream with minimum 50% marks.

Candidates whose class 12th or final year graduation results are awaited can also appear for SUAT. However, their admission will be conditional, which will be confirmed upon reception of final exam scores.

Admission process

Interested candidate should visit official website of the university to fill registration form.

Once registration form is filled, candidate will receive mail from the university containing booking link, user-id/system-id & password.

With the help of id and password, candidate will login and book exam slot of her/his choice.

Candidate has to repot at the centre on selected date and time with copy of hall ticket with fixed passport size photo and Govt. issued photo id.

Centre verifies the candidates based on hall ticket, photo ID card & Attendance Roster for that centre. Centre takes the candidate’s signature on Attendance roster and helps the candidates to login & start his/her exam.

Result will be sent to Sharda University after the examination cycle gets completed.

Successful candidates will be called for Personal Interview (and Group Discussion - incase of MBA candidates) to Sharda University campus/ regional offices.

Appear for PI (GD in case of MBA) at SU campus/ regional offices.

Candidate can appear for SUAT either at Sharda University campus or Sharda University Regional Offices or at SUAT Exam Centres. 

Due to the current pandemic situations in the country, the test centers are currently disabled.

Qualifying Marks

For UG and M.Tech courses, candidate should have secured minimum 60% marks in 10+2 or equivalent exam.

For PG courses, candidate should have secured minimum 50% marks in Graduation or equivalent Degree exam to become eligible for SAUT.
