SB School and College of Nursing: Nursing Courses Admission 2020

SB School and College of Nursing (SBSCN) offers following programs for the academic year 2020-2021

 

GNM (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 with minimum 40% marks in aggregate with 3 optional subjects and English from any recognized board preferably Science.

5% relaxation in total marks for SC/ST candidates.

Registered ANM.

10+2 with Vocational ANM or Health Care science.

Minimum 17 years to maximum 35 years of age.


 

B.Sc. in Nursing (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 with science subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English.

Secured minimum 45%  of the total marks in science subjects and English of the qualifying examination.

Relaxation of 5% in case of Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

10+2 vocational course with 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

The candidate should have completed 17 years on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.

Candidate shall be medically fit.


 

P.B.B.Sc. (N) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery(GNM).

Be a registered Nurse.

Be medically fit.

Have good personnel and professional record.

No candidate who is above 48 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission shall be eligible.


 

M.Sc.  in Nursing (2 year)

Eligibility: A candidate must be 

 a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B. Sc Nursing/Post Basic B. Sc Nursing with minimum of 55 % aggregate marks.

5% relaxation of marks for SC/ ST candidates.

For Post Basic B. Sc Nursing (1 year of work experience after GNM or P.B.B.Sc.).

Minimum one year of work experience after B. Sc (N).

Candidate shall be medically fit.


 

 

SBSCN: Admission Process 2020

 

In Person

Candidate may visit institute admission office to fill application form and submit there.

There would be an interview scheduled for the candidate

Selected candidates shall be enrolled on payments of the fees as per the Fee Structure.

 

Online

Candidate may download the application form from the institute website & send it across to the college address mentioned on the form

In complete application form will be considered as not valid.

A telephonic interview would be conducted, however it will be valid only after the application form reaches the admission cell.

Selected candidates will be informed and shall be enrolled on payments of the fees as per the “Fee Structure”.

All the candidates will have to submit original certificates at the time of admission.

The admission is subjected to Bangalore University Approval.

 

Required Certificates for UG Courses

  • 10 / SSLC / ICSE / CBSE Pass certificates with date of birth proof.
  • PUC or equivalent Marks Card.
  • Transfer certificate from the School / College last attended.
  • Conduct Certificate from the School / College last attended.
  • Migration Certificate in the case of students who have passed exams other than Karnataka PU Exam.
  • Address Proof (Latest Telephone Bill / Gas Connection Bill.
  • 6 latest passport size photograph.
  • Caste certificate is required for candidates belonging to other castes than GM category.
  • Certificates for Academic Achievements.
  • Sports Certificates.
  • Additional Documents In Case Of Foreign Students
  • Valid student Visa.
  • Passport Copy.
  • Residential Permit.

 

Required Certificates for PG Courses

The following certificates have to be produced with two copies during interview.

  • 10 / SSLC / ICSE / CBSE Pass certificates with date of birth proof.
  • PUC or equivalent Marks Card.
  • Degree examination marks card of I / II / III year or all semesters.
  • Degree or Provisional Degree Certificate.
  • Migration Certificate in case of students who have passed any exams other than that of Bangalore University.
  • Transfer certificate from the College last attended.
  • Conduct Certificate from the college last attended
  • Address Proof (Latest Telephone Bill / Gas Connection Bill).
  • 6 latest passport size photographs.
  • Certificates for Academic Achievements.
  • Sports Certificates.
