Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with working knowledge of computer systems. Diploma / Certification in computer application will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to B.Tech / MBA / MCA Degree holders.

Maximum age limit is 45 years as on 1st January of the admission year.

Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the final year/ semester examination may also apply for the PG Programmes provided that they satisfy the following two conditions. 

• Condition 1 - That they have appeared/ are appearing for the final year/ semester exam in full and for the first time.
• Condition 2 - That they have passed all examinations prior to the final year/ semester.

Selection Process

Kerala Government Departments

• Three candidates from Kerala Government Departments can be nominated.
• Candidates will be first short listed based on their profiles and final selection is made through test and interview.
• The department shall forward the NOC for deputation for one year

For sponsored Category

Central Government, other State Governments and Private Organisations could sponsor their employees through proper channel directly to IIITM-K.

Open Category

Eligible candidates from open category are selected through competitive entrance examination followed by an interview.
